Winners Emerge In PRIFGLA Maiden Scholarship/Debate Competition For Secondary Schools In South South

Winners have emerged in the maiden scholarship/debate competition for secondary schools in the South South zone organized by the Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability, PRIFGLA.
Peter Purity of B.B Academy emerged as the winner, followed by Otiotio Glory of Belary Schools who emerged as the 1st runner up while Ovie Douglas of Botimiebi Model Academy emerged as the 2nd runner up out of 30 students that participated in the competition.
Ambassador Ayi Matthew Excel, Coordinator of  Pastor Reuben Initiative Secondary Schools Debate Competition who spoke while presenting the cash prizes to winners, said the debate competition was initiated by Pastor Reuben to motivate students to study hard in their academics.
Amb. Excel further said Pastor Reuben has embarked on several scholarships programmes but decided to officially kickstart a scholarship/debate competition in order to select credible students as beneficiary of the scholarship programme.
He commended the judges for the fair and credible manner the competition was conducted,  and enjoined the winners not to relent in their academics.
Also speaking, the acting Director General of PRIFGLA, Eseimokumo Soko described thel competition ss laudable, adding that the three students who came out successfully would be awarded a scholarship till university education.
Soko assured that the debate competition would be continuous and urged the winner to always study hard in order to make their parents and  friends proud.
The winner of the competition, Peter Purity of B.B Academy attributed her emergence to hardwork, adding that the scholarship will take the educational burden off her parents.
