For how long will the activities of land grabbers continue to grow? They are permeating every section of the country.
The president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the Oyo State governor, Mr Seyi Makinde should come in. The president has promised Nigerians that he would stop any form of anti-corruption in the country. We can’t sit down in Ibadan, the pacesetter city, and somebody will say he wants to throw away the judgment of the Court. It is against the Constitution.”
He also called on the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun and the Commissioner of Police Adebola Hamzat, to caution his officers in Oyo State, to stop meddling into land matters and allegedly aiding and abaiting land grabbing.
These were the words of the the Living Perfect Master and founder of One Love Family, Satguru Maharaj Ji, while speaking with newsmen in Ibadan the Oyo State capital.
According to him, some landgrabbers by the name I.A Com Nigeria Limited are using some Police officers for nefarious activities on my land located along Ibadan/Lagos Expressway.
Maharaj Ji said “We want to place it on record that the disputed land issue is still in Oyo State High Court 10, sitting in Ibadan, in the suit with number: I/786/2022, which judgement was supposed to be delivered on Thursday 7th day of December 2023 by Justice Fadeyi but the jugdement could not hold and later adjourned to January 31st, 2024.
Maharaj Ji, explained further that the land in question is in court.
He posited: “Justice Fadeyi advised the two parties not to go to the land to do anything whatsoever till judgement is given but it was, however, surprising last week, that some men from the other party invaded the land with a bulldozer under the protection of some heavily armed police officers working on the land.
“I see the invasion of the land as an invitation to anarchy and especially when the matter is already before High Court.
“While I would not want to resort to causing breach of public peace, am also calling on Governor Seyi Makinde and the CP Hamzat who are saddled with the responsibility of maintaining peace and order in the society to urgently do something about it.
“They have been declared wanted since two years ago and when the police went after them with the address they wrote down, they discovered it was motor park address. So, early this year they reappeared to say they don’t have any case to answer. Now, the new landgrabbers is on the move.
“This is Nigeria. Judgemet has been delivered on the land 22 years ago. All those who tried to grab the land all ran away. Even when the police called them to come and testify, they all ran away. They called them from Zone 11 in Osogbo and police headquarters, Abuja, they did not show up.
“The question is; who are these people coming again? There were two bulldozers on the land but when we went to question them, one of the bulldozers was taken away. The other bulldozer that’s left there is being guarded by policemen.
“We want the security officers to explain to all Nigerians who are these people coming again? The police has a case to answer.
“They should not forget that Satguru Maharaj Ji is a bona-fide Prince of Ibadanland from the Asiwaju family of Adeoyo and as well as the Living Perfect Master of this Age. Satguru Maharaj Ji declared No War in Nigeria, you should know its not ordinary.
“These people who are attacking are looking for war o! Those police officers that are aiding and abaiting them are looking for war o!
