The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) announced Saturday the withdrawal of Battalion 7107 from the Gaza Strip, months after its participation in the aggression against the Strip – Battalion 7107 is a reserve combat engineering battalion.
The Hebrew Broadcasting Authority added that the battalion participated in the fighting in the northern Gaza Strip. The announcement of its withdrawal coincides with reports in the media indicating the IOF’s preparation to reduce its forces in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
Approximately two weeks ago, the Israeli Occupation Minister of Defense Yoav Galant had announced the conclusion of major military operations in the northern Gaza Strip.
