A 24-year-old suspected male genitals thief, Habib Kachalla has confessed that he was offered N20,000 to steal male genitals in Jigawa State.
Kachalla, from Yan-Ciyawa village of Nguru Local Government Area of Yobe State was apprehended by operatives of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Jigawa State Command.
The Command’s spokesperson, Asc Badruddeen Tijjani Mahmud in a statement issued to newsmen, said Kachalla upon interrogation confessed after he was arrested for stealing the manhood of five unsuspecting victims in the state.
Mahmud said Kachalla confessed that the assignment was his first operation before he was arrest.
According to him, “operatives of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) apprehended a suspected male genital thief, Habib Kachalla on Monday, 29th day of January, 2024 for stealing the genitals of five teenagers in Gida Dubu Quarters, Dutse LGA, Jigawa State.
“Habib Kachallah was arrested in Hakimi street, at about 2100hrs following a distress call by one Yusuf Musa, Abubakar Faruq, Ibrahim Abubakar, Jamilu Nasir, all residents of Gida-Dubu who reported at the State Command Headquarters, falls as victims upon helping a 14 year-old Abdulmumin Nura (m), resident of Gida-Dubu who complained to them that his private part was stolen by the suspect.
“Upon interrogation, the suspect mentioned that he met with someone who he doesn’t even know and has never met before while walking along Babban Cross Roundabout in Nguru LGA, Yobe State who offered him the sum of N20,000, which he accepted as someone in need of money with a promise to be his partner in the crime business of stealing people’s genitals for a commission. He further stated that he doesn’t even know what he uses it for.
“The suspect confessed to have stolen the genitals of the complaints, but with the intervention of NSCDC officials brought back their male organs. He further stated that he has never done it before and this is his first time and eventually led to his arrest.
“The State Commandant, Muhammad Danjuma (CC) has ordered a discreet investigation into the case after which, the suspect will be charged to a court of competent jurisdiction for possible prosecution,” the statement however reads.
