Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS ), has conferred an Award of Excellence on the Chairman, Oyo State Board of Internal Revenue Service, Hon. Olufemi Awakan for his outstanding administration qualities.
Speaking at the event held at the BCOS Chapel Hall, Ile Akede, Orita Bashorun , Ibadan, the Chairperson of the Corporation, Chief(mrs) Dotun Olaitan , described Hon.Olufemi Awakan as a God-fearing man with impeccable character, and a man of sterling leadership qualities, who had impacted positively on people.
According to her, “the management and staff of the corporation dim it fit to confer the award of excellence on Hon Awakan because of his humanitarian gestures and numerous contributions to the society at large.
While speaking on the occasion, Hon. Awakan, appreciated the Corporation for honouring him and dedicated the award to the staffers of the
Oyo State Board of Internal Revenue Service for their cooperation.
He explained that he sees the award as a call to do more for the society.
