Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello who has been declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over N80.2billion fraud has disclosed why his nickname is called White Lion.

In a recent video that resurfaced online, Yahaya Bello raised eyebrows as he was seen showing off his amazing boxing skills.

The video of the former Kogi STtae Governor displaying his boxing prowess online resulted in many disclosing that the operatives of EFCC are scared to arrest him.

On Thursday, April 18th 2023, The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) declared  Yahaya Bello, wanted for offenses relating to economic and financial crimes.

The notice read, “The public is hereby notified that Yahaya Adoza Bello (former Governor of Kogi State), whose photograph appears above is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in connection with alleged case of Money Laundering to the tune of N80,246,470,089.88

“Bello, a 48-year-old Ebira man, is a native of Okenne Local Government of Kogi State.

“His last known address is: 9, Benghazi Street, Wuse Zone 4, Abuja.”

While the EFCC operatives are still in search of Yahaya Bello whereabouts, a video of the former Kogi State Governor showing how strong he is has surfaced online.

In the video, Yahaya Bello was seen throwing some huge punches expressing how great he is when it comes to boxing.

Sharing the video of Yahaya Bello throwing jabs, blogger Tunde Ednut wrote; “Maybe na why EFCC dey fear to carry am be this. Na strong man.”
