It was pomp and peagantry when Seyi Oni, the publisher of Okodoro Newspaper, earned the prestigious Best Yoruba Newspaper On Religion Story in Oyo State.

 

In a remarkable recognition award of business excellence and leadership, Seyi Oni, the esteemed publisher of Okodoro Newspaper, earned the prestigious Best Yoruba Newspaper On Religion Story in Oyo State.
This prestigious accolade highlights his significant contributions to the Nigerian business landscape and civic life.
The ceremony, which took place on May 5, 2024, at Christ Gospel Church of Peace Aladura  during the church anniversary held at Gbekuba, Arata, Ibadan.
It was a gathering of notable personalities including  Special Ap. Aladewura Ogunsanya (Speaker), Tope Adebanjo (Pastor in charge),  Prophet Yemi Ajibola, Prince M.O Adebanjo (Host), Pastor Olumide Oni, Pelumi Adedeji nee Oni, Olamiposi Elijah (who have been his financial supporter of the development of the newspaper).
These leaders collectively praised Seyi Oni for his visionary leadership and enduring commitment to societal development.
In an interview, Seyi Oni thanked the organisers of the event for deeming it fit to give him an award. 
He, however, thank God for such privilege of being among those that was count worthy to be given an award by the church.
He , also thanked the General Overseer of the church, Prince M.O Adebanjo his remembering him. 
“I want to thank our father in the Lord for the award given me. I didn’t expect it but God has a way of doing things. Once again I say thank you sir.
