Otedola Family has donated several food items and sanitary materials to the Thani-Oladunjoye Older People Care Centre, DAILY MONITOR reports.
The donation was made to commemorate the 10th year Remembrance ceremony of their Patriarch, Sir Michael Otedola.

Sir Michael Otedola was the governor of Lagos State from January 1992 to 18th November 1993 and father of business magnate and multi billionaire, Femi Otedola.

He passed away on 5th of May 2014, at the age of 87.

His administration facilitated the establishment of the Yaba College of Education campus in Epe.

The Lagos State College of Education in Epe was named after him until it was recently upgraded into a university.

A Co-Facilitator of the Centre, Mr Tunde Thanni, in an interview with Eko Hot Blog, felt honoured for having the recognition of the Otedola Family

“We are most honoured for the recognition and very grateful for the items donated,” Mr Thanni said.

“May his eminence soul continue to rest in perfect peace & legacies abide forever,” he prayed.

The presentation was carried out by some of Sir Michael Otedola’s Children which are Mr Ayokunle Otedola, Mr Rotimi Otedola, Mr Olumuyiwa Otedola, Mrs Omotola Oye and Mrs Omolola Segun-Idahor.
