The Wife of the Inspector General of Police and President of the Police Officers’ Wives Association, Elizabeth Egbetokun, on Tuesday, led wives of other police top hierarchy to the palace of Olubadan-designate, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

PUNCH Online reports that the seat became vacant after the demise of Oba Lekan Balogun who died at the age of 81 after two years of reigning.

The visit, which is currently ongoing, had in attendance the Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Eddy Oyewole; Osi Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Lateef Adebimpe, Ashipa Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Kola Adegbola, the President of Ibadan Compound Head, Asimiyu Ariori, the state Commissioner of Police, Adebola Hamzat, and a host of others.
