A nurse, Lucy Likeh, has gone missing after visiting a park in the Federal Capital Territory to send a parcel to a friend.
The 28-year-old, who works with a private organization at MKK Plaza in Jabi, Abuja, was last seen at Zuba Park on Friday, where she intended to send a parcel to her friend in Minna, Niger State. Since her visit to the park, her whereabouts remain unknown, and her mobile phone has been switched off.
Likeh was last seen wearing a black tracksuit, a black and white chiffon shirt, and a fez cap.
Her brother-in-law, Shadrach Obi, confirmed the incident on Wednesday, stating that he has reported her disappearance to two police stations in the FCT.
“She’s my wife’s younger sister, and she hasn’t been found yet. As I speak to you now, I am on my way to the FCT Police Command.
I have reported the matter to the police station near where she works and also to Zuba Police Station, covering where she said she was going on Friday. But those efforts have not yielded results yet, so today I am going to the command to make a report,” Obi told our correspondent.
Obi also shared a missing person notice on social media, confirming that Likeh had reached the park and sent the parcel, which her friend received in Minna.
“My wife’s younger sister, who stays with us, is missing. She’s a nurse and works with a private organization at MKK Plaza in Jabi.
She chatted with my wife on Friday evening, saying she would be going to Zuba Park after work to send a parcel to a friend in Minna.
Since then, we have not seen her, and her phone has been switched off.
It was confirmed that she got to Zuba and sent the parcel because the recipient has been contacted by us.
We have reported to the police stations at Utako and Zuba, and I want to share this here for any useful information.
