A female suspect, identified as Aisha Abubakar, has been intercepted by security personnel in Katsina State for carrying ammunition intended for use of terrorists.
The discovery of the ammunition was made during a routine luggage inspection, prompting her initial denial of involvement followed by a subsequent confession upon further interrogation
She admitted to transporting the ammunition from Nassarawa state to a terrorist group in Yan Tumaki, Dan Musa LGA, Katsina state, during interrogation.
She has subsequently been detained and is helping out in further investigations.
