Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has been commended for his administration’s commitment to delivering quality education across the state

The commendations came as the Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, emerged, the best 3rd Polytechnic in Nigeria,
This was announced by JAMB Registrar, Prof Oloyede, at the National Tertiary Admission Performance Merit Award that was organized by JAMB during the 2024 Policy Meeting on Admissions into Tertiary Institutions, which was held in Abuja.

The Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Salihu Adelabu who expressed joy that Eruwa Poly was rated best among its counterparts, noted that the state government’s general reform of the education sector is beginning to yield positive results.

He commended the Management, Staff, and students of the Polytechnic, saying that the feat is a testimony of the hard work, determination, commitment, and dedication of major stakeholders.

He specifically commended the Oyo state Governor for his untiring efforts at ensuring the Institution gets all the needed support to help create the enabling environment for learning and research to thrive.

The National Tertiary Admission Performance Merit Award programme was attended by vice-chancellors of universities, rectors of polytechnics, monotechnics, and innovation enterprise institutes, provosts of colleges of education, and other critical stakeholders, to consider and approve the guidelines for the 2024 admission exercise.

The gathering also reviewed the performance of the 2023 admissions exercise and the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME performance of candidates.
