Last Sunday Annual Convention rally by the Redeemed Christian Church of God was awesome, electrifying and huge success.
The Convention theme, ‘Heaven’ slated for 5th to 11th of August, 2024, no doubt will be massive with the levels of attendance at the mass rally.
The Intercontinental Music Director of RCCG led the legion of worshippers from the Redemption City to Ebute Meta where the rally formally took off on Sunday.
It was indeed a carnival like atmosphere with the members of the mass choir, led by Pastor Kunle Ajayi on his Saxophone and other musical instruments by members dishing out sweet christian melodies to charge every environment visited with huge attendance. Security team of the Church led by Pastor Ademiju also did yeoman job in controlling the traffic in collaboration with Lagos State Traffic Management team, while pastors, members and others going from one street to another, from Alago meji through to Sabo, Jibowu, Mushin, Idi Oro, Mosalasi, Ojuelegba, Stadium, then Berger, Ibafo and back to the Redemption City.
The rally which many described as unprecedented witnessed by thousands of people all over Lagos, also saw the regional Pastor of region one, Pastor Dele Balogun, who is also the Special Assistant to the General Overseer, Pastor Adejare Adeboye on Administration, with battalion of members and non members of the Church advertising the annual convention that is expected to commence with Minister’s conference from 1st to 4th of August, 2024 before the main event, the convention from 5th to 11th of August.
Pastor Dele Balogun, who is one of the top organisers of the rally said, ‘this year convention is unique in all ramifications. A must to attend globally. He advised people not be left out of the grace and manifestation of God expected at the convention.
Pastor Kunle Ajayi, the intercontinental director of music of the Church revealed, ‘there was no dull moment throughout the rally as pastors and members alike intermittently preached and talked about the expectations and rewards of being part of the event.
He said, ‘you can’t get anything less. When it is the Redeemed Christian Church of God. We are always at the best for Christ. I can only advice people not to miss ‘Heaven’ a program that will transform and change stories of many lives’
In attendance at the rally include but not limited to, Pastor Adeyemo, Pastor of Headquarters, Pastor Olaniyan, Assistant Regional Pastor among others.
Pastor Adejare Adeboye, who is the General Overseer of the Church will be ministering with other anointed men of God at the convention.
