The Federal Ministry of Education has announced an extension of holidays for all federal government educational institutions until August 4, in response to the ongoing extreme heatwave.

In a notification issued by the ministry, it was stated that the decision was made considering the health and safety of students and staff amidst the severe heat conditions.

Consequently, the government educational institutions will now reopen on August 5.

“The intense heatwave has necessitated this extension,” the notification read. “Ensuring the well-being of students and staff is our top priority.”
