The Federal Government has called off the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting scheduled for Monday afternoon.

The meeting, which was expected to address the ongoing nationwide #EndBadGovernance protests, was cancelled without prior notice, leaving ministers who had arrived at the Council Chambers in the Presidential Villa to depart abruptly at around noon.

The cancellation comes as the protests continue despite calls for dialogue by the president and members of his cabinet.
