Lagos State law enforcement authorities have nabbed two individuals accused of armed robbery while posing as police officers.
The suspects, who were reportedly dressed in full police uniforms with the ranks of Inspector were caught during an operation in Lagos.
A video that has gone viral on social media shows the suspects being paraded by officers of the Nigerian Police Force with their weapon and other incriminating evidence displayed.
The narrator in the video claims the duo used their fake Inspector ranks to extort and rob unsuspecting residents of Lagos.

However, the incident has sparked concerns about the ease with which criminals can impersonate law enforcement personnel and the potential implications for public safety.
