Austin Eguaveon has quit his role as interim Super Eagles coach, as reported by@owngoalnigeria.

The medium quoted the coach as admitting that his mandate was for only two matches and he had to honour it.

Eguaveon said; “My mandate was for two games and it ends today (against Rwanda). I appreciate my players and the NFF leadership.”
