The downpour, which began on Wednesday and continued into Thursday morning, led to the Ora River overflowing its banks, inundating parts of the city.

The affected areas include Isale Ora and Aduinin, where properties and structures were significantly impacted.

Among those submerged are a Cherubim and Seraphim church and a wooden store used for selling planks, both located near the riverbank.
