The Federal High Court in Lagos has fixed April 9, 2024, to sentence controversial cross-dresser and social media celebrity, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky. Justice Abimbola Awogboro reserved the date for his judgment after Bobrisky pleaded guilty to a four-count charge of Naira abuse brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission on Wednesday approved an increase in electricity tariffs for customers under the Band A classification. The Vice Chairman, NERC, Musliu Oseni, said the increase will see the customers paying N225 kilowatt per hour (KW/h) from the current N66. Police Officer was allegedly stabbed to death by his wife in Kiplombe, Baringo County, Kenya, for arriving home late. Baringo Police Commander Julius Kiragu, who confirmed the incident said that Officer Vincent Kipterim Kiprotich, 28, attached to the Critical Infrastructure Protection Unit (CIPU) in Mandera County was on leave when the incident occurred. Operatives of the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) BEECROFT have uncovered an alleged illegal Automated Gas Oil (AGO) bunker with 400 thousand litre capacity at a private residence in the Lekki area of Lagos.
