A  Nollywood Actor, Lukman Abdulsalam, popularly known as Hamburger is confirmed dead. According to reports, the deceased suffered a cardiac arrest while on set filming a skit. The Actor finally surrendered to cold death despite immediate medical attention and all efforts to revive him proved abortive. He was survived by wife, two children and a host of other relations. The news of Hamburger’s death comes barely 24 hours after popular Nollywood movie producer, Ikechukwu Nnadi, popularly known as Andy Best was pronounced dead. Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has condemned the recent attack that led to the killing of a village head and other residents of Rafi Local Government Area (LGA) of Niger State. South Africa’s public servants across national and provincial departments will receive a 4.7% salary increase effective 1 April 2024.  According to the announcement by the Minister for the Public Service and Administration, Ms Noxolo Kiviet, the wage increase applies only to non-Senior Management Service (SMS) employees who are public servants on salary levels between 1 and 12. Three students of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, were feared dead on Friday in a stampede that occurred when the students struggled for rice donated by the state government.   The incident occurred at the convocation square of the university where the bags of rice were kept awaiting the arrival of Governor Abdullahi Sule for the commencement of distribution.
