The father of the former member of the nation’s junior and senior national teams and the acting General Manager of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) Ibadan, Mr Dimeji Lawal, Pa Lawal is died. A close friend of the former football star who shared the news on a WhatsApp platform, revealed that Pa Lawal passed away Saturday morning (today). He added that the deceased would be buried today at Muslim Burial Ground, Omi-Adio by 3:00pm, according to Islamic rights. Plan to review the guidelines for recruitment into the Civil Defence, Fire, Correctional, and Immigration Services has been announced by the Federal Government. FG has said henceforth 35% of recruitment into the services would be allocated to women. A Nigerian man narrowly escapes being a victim of a crime he knew nothing about after an airport staff slipped drugs into his luggage to transport on his behalf.
