The Abia police command has confirmed the arrest of a popular On-Air Personality (OAP), Chigozie Anumudu, for allegedly defiling a 15-year-old boy in Aba. The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, ASP Maureen Chinaka, confirmed the arrest in a statement issued to journalists in Umuahia on Saturday. The Beninois and Togolese universities which were temporarily derecognised  last week by the  Federal Government, are at risk of  losing about N7.5billion which  they  make annually from their Nigerian students, according to projections by The Nation. The Federal Ministry of Education on Tuesday  suspended the evaluation and accreditation of degree certificates from universities in the two countries following a newspaper  report alleging certificate racketeering from an institution in Benin. A 75-year-old woman named Mallama Meimunat Opaluwa-Sani, suspected to be a victim of arson, was set on fire along with her five-year-old granddaughter, Onechojo, in Oketekwe, Idah Local Government Area of Kogi State. The elderly woman, who was the sister of Attah of Igala, Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa II, tragically lost her life in the early hours of Thursday. The Ogun State Police Command says it has arrested a 43-year-old pastor, Clinton John, for allegedly defiling a 16-year-old girl (name withheld) in Agbado area of the state. Israeli-born designer and academic Prof. Neri Oxman, the wife of billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman, has apologized after it was reported that her 2010 dissertation contained a number of instances of plagiarism.
