As a result of the death of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, his deputy Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa has taken the Oath of Allegiance as the 7th Civilian Governor of Ondo State. The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) is set to release more regulation for the digital lending space in 2024.
