The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has appointed Augustine Eguavoen, former Super Eagles player, as interim coach of the team after Jose Peseiro confirmed his exit as coach due to his contract expiration with the Federation on Thursday.

The Nigerian stories made this known on its X handle on Saturday, March 2.

He wrote: “The NFF appoints Augustine Eguavoen as the interim coach of the Super Eagles.”
