Libyan authorities have failed to grant Nigeria’s chartered aircraft a fly permit, stopping the aircraft from returning players to the country.

This is coming after the super eagles players withdrew from the match which is set to hold tomorrow due to the ill treatment they received upon arrival at Libya airport.

For more than 16 hours till the time of filing this report, players are still at the airport without any form of provision for them from the Libya authorities.

According to a verified source, Poojamedia, clubs have now started sending private jets to pick their players.

‘’Libya is not granting a fly permit or selling aviation fuel to Nigeria chartered aircraft, Valuejet to fly out of Libya. Players’ clubs are already sending private jets but can only land at Tripoli or Benghazi & not Al-Abraq. 1pm in Libya & players/officials are still stranded’’
